GRAIL: Written for the first season. A True Seeker, Aldous Gajic, comes to the station searching for the Holy Grail. He encounters Jinxo, a down-and-out loser who is convinced that he was the jinx who caused the destruction of the previous four Babylon stations. CAPTAIN POWER AND THE SOLDIERS OF THE FUTURE (syndicated live-action TV series) GEMINI AND COUNTING (from a story by J. Michael Straczynski): Pilot infiltrates a
Dread medical facility to obtain desperately needed medicine. She encounters a
young girl, a member of the Dread Youth, who is disturbingly very much like a
younger version of Pilot, brainwashed by Dread but filled with doubts.
FREEDOM ONE (from a story by J. Michael Straczynski): Power and his team agree to
a mass meeting of resistance leaders organized by a woman code-named
Freedom One, whose voice is a source of inspiration over a mobile resistance
adio station. But it also turns out to be a Dread trap.
THE ARCHERS: This was originally a 5-part mini-series written to kick off the second season. Mattel cancelled the series before any of the second season was done. Power and his team are on the run, trying to find a hidden base in northern Canada. They've lost a team member and gained a new one, but that doesn't mean she's a welcome replacement. During their flight, they crash in one of the last remaining expanses of forest where they encounter a guerrilla band of techno-archers and face a newly-changed Lord Dread who is now more machine than human. I developed, edited and wrote this series which was created by Ron Thornton of Foundation Imaging. It was first aired on ABC Saturday mornings, and resurfaced once or twice on the Disney Channel. The show features three Earth cadets (teenagers) who find themselves trapped in the core of the galaxy, facing an immense alien enemy known as the Triiad. A combination of live-action and CGI (computer generated images). FIRST CONTACT: Max, Ace and Sharkey are accidentally catapulted into the galactic core where they rescue Kulai and the Gloose from Kulai's enemy, Paiyin.Buy an autographed script. THE STAR RANGER: The kids and Kulai locate a long-abandoned, deep space Earth science station which they make their base. Ace has a very close and dangerous encounter with the Triiad Armada. Buy an autographed script. THE CHALLENGE (2-parter): Some of the aliens races blame their woes with the Triiad on the Hypernauts. Stung by this, the Hypernauts set out to destroy one of the largest ships in the Triiad fleet. While they're making plans, Kulai accepts a secret challenge from Paiyin to meet him for a duel of honor. Buy an autographed script. NOTE: "The Challenge" were the last two episodes of the 13 shows that were produced. "The Challenge" hasn't aired in the United States, but is available on tape in Australia, Japan and Germany. CAT AND MOUSE: written for the 1989 season of the new TZ. Andrea Moffett is a mousy woman, afraid of life, nose buried in romance novels, mind filled with fantasies of the dream lover. Gillaume de Marchaud has spent hundreds of years cursed to live as a cat by day, able to become a man again only by night. He's spent his time loving and leaving women. TRANSMUTATE: A mutated creature is born from a damaged pod, and is caught between the Maximals and the Predacons.
This was a series I developed, edited and wrote for Sunbow Prods. based on a comic book owned by Neal Adams. It's anthropomorphic animals in space opera adventure as experienced by Willy DuWitt, a boy genius from Earth. Bucky is a green hare, his first mate Jenny is a mystic Persian cat and the rest of the crew includes a Betelgeuisian Berserker Baboon, a 4-armed pirate duck. Their enemies are the Toads (and their terrible, unintentional weapon, Toad TV). WAR OF THE WARTS: Part 1 of the opening mini-series setting up Willy DuWitt
entering the Aniverse and encountering Bucky and crew.
A FISTFUL OF SIMOLEANS: Part 2 of mini-series. THE GOOD, THE BAD AND THE WARTY: Part 3 of mini-series. HOME, SWAMPY HOME: Bucky sets out to free his enslaved people from a toad orbital factory where he encounters a real fox, Mimi La Floo. THE CORSAIR CANARDS: Bucky's Corsair crew member is framed for acts of
piracy he didn't commit.
THE ARTIFICIERS OF ALDEBARAN: Co-written with Bridget McKenna. We learn about Jenny's mystical background as she battles a quark-demon. FELONIOUS MONKS: The Captain and crew face a kangaroo court at the hands of their old nemesis, Apax. Gor tries to sort out the difference between natural laws, artificial laws and justice, while they battle to escape a prison asteroid, or face the rest of their lives eating Soylent Yellow.
I developed this series based on Robert E. Howard's original stories. We did a total of 65 episodes, which I story-edited. This was the syndicated series, which had no relationship whatsoever to the network version that followed. THE NIGHT OF FIERY TEARS: Part 1 of two-parter. Conan's father makes him a
sword out of star-metal from fallen meteorites. The evil wizard, Wrath-Amon,
comes in search of the star-metal and turns Conan's family into stone statues.
Conan vows vengeance and sets out on his quest.
BLOOD-BROTHER: Part 2 of two-parter. Conan teams up with Zula, Prince of the
Wasai tribe, to escape from slavery in Stygia.
THE STAR OF SHADIZAR: Conan teams up with Jezmine, a circus performer with
star-metal weapons. They break into a sorcerer's tower to steal a magical jewel
in order to save Jezmine's circus family.
WINDFANG'S EYRIE: Conan and his wizard friend, Greywolf, rescued Jezmine
from a winged monster known as Windfang, but Jezmine learns that once
Windfang was a man and sees in her the image of his long-lost love. Also
introduces a new friend, Falkenar and his falcon, Stormclaw.
RETURN TO TARANTIA: Conan, Zula and Jezmine return to the majestic city of
Tarantia where Jezmine learns at last who her true parents were…and the
terrible secret of who and what she really is.
INTO THE ABYSS: Conan and Jezmine enter the abyss where their greatest
enemy, Set, is imprisoned. Jezmine is there to rescue her mother, but Set and his
ten thousand serpent-men are determined that they'll never escape.
Based on the popular Japanese Capcom arcade game. Supernatural creatures do battle against one another for the fate of Earth. Harry is a boy wizard and descendent of Merlin. His friend is Felicia, a catwoman. DONOVAN'S BANE: A new character, Donovan the Hunter, is introduced. He's out
to destroy all the Dark Stalkers whether good or evil. He encounters Felicia and
Harry while tracking down Morrigan, an evil succubus who nearly overcomes
them all.
SAMURAI'S HONOR: Bishamon, an ancient samurai enslaved to an evil, sentient
sword, is forced into battle against Donovan and Donovan's sentient sword while
Harry and Felicia try to protect an innocent little girl from Demitri, Lord of the
Vampires.
COUNTDOWN FOR ZARTAN: The Joe's search for a bomb that Zartan planted in a new scientific center to combat world terrorism. Things go wrong for Zartan when he's captured and imprisoned in the center as the bomb's deadline ticks off. THE SYNTHOID CONSPIRACY (2-parter): Cobra devises a means to replace real people with "synthoids", artificial counterparts that serve Cobra. A secret synthoid amongst high Pentagon officials and within G.I. Joe itself manages to have to the entire Joe army disbanded. The team must become outlaws in order to uncover and fight the plot. CAPTIVES OF COBRA (2-parter): Cobra accidentally creates a form of highly
sensitive explosive crystals. The Joe team must transport the crystals, which will
explode if jarred, to the Mojave desert and destroy them. Meanwhile, Cobra
manages to learn the real identities of several Joes, kidnaps their families,
brainwashes them and sends them against the Joes in combat.

DIC series THE MIND MANGLER: Duke is captured by the Mangler who uses a mind- scanning device to probe for Joe secrets. A new team of six men called Sky Patrol fly and fight through Cobra defenses to rescue him and the girl, Megan, who helps him. BIOK: Cobra creates BIOK, the ultimate artificial intelligence and uses it to take over every computer system, bank, satellite and finally military system in the world, including G.I. Joe's. Then it decides to eliminate all organic life. BUZZ OFF'S PRIDE: Lord Buzz Off heads to a village which uses a green crystal to grow rich crops. On the way, Buzz Off has an encounter with a giant that leads the insect lord with a burised ego. When the giant and his two giant friends attack the village, Buzz Off and the Masters come to the rescue, but Buzz Off allows himself to be taunted and distracted by the giant he fought earlier. Because he's absent from the main fight, the Masters are overcome and the giants steal the crystal. Buzz Off realizes what his pride has cost and sets off to make things right by confronting the giants alone. THE BEGINNING (part 1 of mini-series) : Jem and the Holograms accept a challenge to compete with The Misfits in a giant Battle of the Bands with the winner to take control of Starlight Music. Jerrica Benton faces disaster when Starlight House, her home for foster girls, is set on fire. DISASTER (part 2 of mini-series): With Starlight House destroyed, Jerrica must find a home for her foster girls. The jealous Misfits sabotage a photo session for Jem and the Holograms and crash an exclusive party on the Countess Du Voisin's yacht. KIMBER'S REBELLION (part 3 of mini-series): Jem and the Holograms go to Paris to make a video clip. One of the Starlight Girls runs away to join The Misfits. Kimber's jealousy of Jem grows and she quits the Holograms. BETRAYAL (part 4 of mini-series): The Misfits try to wreck a TV interview of Jem and the Holograms, but when that fails, they frame Jem for a robbery during a concert in Las Vegas. BATTLE OF THE BANDS (part 5 of mini-series): Eric Raymond kidnaps a Starlight Girl and uses her to make Jem and the Holograms his prisoners during the Battle of the Bands. Unless they can escape, The Misfits will win and Eric will take control of Starlight Music. FALLING STAR (Part 1 of STARBRIGHT): Jem and the Holograms find their dream coming true as they make their own Hollywood movie. But their dream becomes a nightmare when Pizzazz uses her father's money to buy the movie studio and take over the movie. COLLIDING STARS (Part 2 of STARBRIGHT): The Misfits do their best to make Jem and the Holograms' lives miserable as they take over Jem's movie. Jerrica learns that Ba Nee, one of her foster girls, will go blind without an expensive operation. As Jem, Jerrica is determined to finish the movie to pay for the operation, in spite of dangerous accidents on the set. RISING STAR (Part 3 of STARBRIGHT): When Kimber's life is threatened by an accident on the movie set, Jem and the Holograms finally abandon their movie to The Misfits. Jem, with the help of all her friends, decides to make her own movie in a desperate race against time to save Ba Nee's eyesight. THE MUSIC AWARDS (Part 1): Jem and the Holograms face tough competition from The Misfits to win a coveted music award. While Jerrica struggles to save Starlight Music, three of her girls (Deirdre, Krissie and Ba Nee) feel neglected and run away from home. Eric Raymond establishes Misfits Music and uses Techrat, a secretive electronics genius, to sabotage Jem. THE MUSIC AWARDS (Part 2): The runaway Starlight Girls encounter Danny, a runaway boy, and forget their own troubles as they try to rescue Danny from the dangerous schemes of an older boy. Jem and the Holograms choose to lose out on the valuable Music Award by doing a benefit for a runaways shelter. Eric sends Techrat to ruin the benefit but Danny foils Techrat's jamming device. THE PRINCESS AND THE SINGER: co-written with Ellen Guon. Jem and the Holograms give a Royal Command Performance in the tiny, fairytale kingdom of Morvania. Kimber and Princess Adriana of Morvania look exactly alike. Kimber's life is endangered when she is mistaken for the Princess by conspirators who plot to seize the throne. THE JEM JAM (Part 1): Jem announces the Jem Jam, a concert featuring the biggest and most legendary stars of rock music. Krissie has a run-in with Dominic, the conceited son of one of the stars who have come to stay at Starlight Mansion. Eric and The Misfits go to Techrat to get a gimmick to outdo the Jam. THE JEM JAM (Part 2): Ba Nee decides that one of the musicians taking part in the Jem Jam is her long-lost American father (he is not) and places herself in danger to make him prove it. Krissie reaches understanding and friendship with Dominic. Techrat's bizarre UFO-like gimmick nearly ruins the Jem Jam, but instead goes haywire and nearly undoes The Misfits. GLITTER AND GOLD: With The Misfits riding a wave of success, Jem and the Holograms adopt a new Glitter & Gold look as they fight to win back their own popularity (compounded by Jerrica being jealous of herself as Jem.) Jerrica nearly tells Rio that she is Jem, but Rio's reaction to a similar situation convinces her that she doesn't dare do so. A huge record store chain, Diskovery, holds a nation- wide contest between Jem and the Holograms' and The Misfits' new records. Whoever is the first to sell 500,000 copies of their new album wins the Glitter & Gold prizes. THE TALENT SEARCH - PART 1: Shana leaves the Holograms to design clothes for a big-name TV actress. Jem opens a Talent Search to get a new drummer. Introduction of RAYA and JETTA (a new Misfit). Raya accidentally learns Jem's secret (without Jem realizing it). THE TALENT SEARCH - PART 2: Aja falls in love with a drummer, Craig Phillips, without realizing he is Stormer's brother. Eric tries, and fails, to manipulate both Raya and Craig (the Talent Search finalists) to find out who Jem is. Raya becomes the new drummer of the Holograms and Shana, miserable with her fashion job, returns as a guitarist. KJEM: introduction of KJEM radio station. Jerrica tries to save a small radio station with help from a group of college kids. The Misfits are tricked by a rival station, KBST, into doing a pirate broadcast which jams KJEM's signal. BRITROCK: Pizzazz calls Jetta's bluff to prove that her family has a royal title. Jetta's parents "borrow" a mansion for the weekend from a bankrupt Earl to fool The Misfits. Jem and the Holograms go to London for a concert where Aja meets up with Craig Phillips and learns he is Stormer's brother. Jem aids the real Earl of the estate to regain his title and blows Jetta's masquerade. THE STINGERS HIT TOWN - PART 1: Riot (lead singer/guitar), Rapture (backup vocals, percussions) and Minx (backup vocals, synthesizer) are The Stingers, the hottest new group in town. Eric and Jerrica fight to sign them up for their music companies. Riot decides Jem is the perfect woman and sets out to win her while Pizzazz decides Riot must belong to her and Minx sets out after Rio. THE STINGERS HIT TOWN - PART 2: Riot's charisma almost wins Jem away from Rio. Eric comes up with a gigantic media blitz which wins The Stingers to sign with him, but Misfit Music becomes StingerSound and The Misfits suddenly find themselves playing second string. A CHANGE OF HEART: Minx undergoes a dramatic change of heart when Rio saves her life. She sets out to do all kinds of good deeds for Rio, Jerrica, Jem and the Holograms to make up for her past bad behavior. Unfortunately, the new Minx turns out to be much more trouble that the old Minx. A FATHER SHOULD BE...: Jem and the Holograms go on a search to find Ba Nee's father, who was an POW in Vietnam. An impostor kidnaps Ba Nee and demands a ransom of one million dollars. Jem and Ba Nee's real father join forces to save the girl. (My personal favorite.) REBORN: Rocky develops jealousy over a sudden love affair between Tann and Lua, not realizing that their bodies have been possessed by the long-dead spirits of an Atlantean king and queen.
THE DREAMS OF CONQUERORS: Jack Tilden and his band of adventurous friends from various times and places find themselves in the company of Alexander the Great. Alexander has been brought to the Lost Continent, and unless Jack can return him to his rightful time, the entire course of history will be changed.
MORTAL WOMBAT: Six pocket-sized dragons undergo training by the Wombat Master in order to save the world. But can the world be saved when the breakfast of champions is cookies?
CLOCKWORK BERSERK: The Pocket Dragons have to outwit the Mad Tinker and his bizarre clockwork inventions to save the wizard's castle.
ICONS: Enzo Matrix and AndrAIa try to save a badly damaged system from a "Kron the Destroyer" game.
THE RETURN OF THE CRIMSON BINOME: Matrix and AndrAIa ship out with the Crimson Binome, trying to escape a repressive system. They're aided by a mysterious web surfer.
THE EDGE OF BEYOND: Continuing the flight into the net on board the Crimson Binome's ship, the Saucy Mare. AndrAIa lies near death from the sting of a toxic web creature.
THE CONSPIRACY REVEALED: Shlainn helps Nick recover a memory from his childhood concerning the disappearance of his father, but Nick is taken as a prisoner to a top-secret atoll prison from which he is never meant to escape. Instead, Nick finds and frees his father and together they destroy what is really an enemy base.
ON THE ROCKS: Graveheart returns to his homeworld with Cryos in an attempt to build an alliance against the Beast Planet. Instead, he is arrested as a traitor. His childhood friend, Jade, thinks the worst of him at first, but once Planet Rock is attacked by Beast Drones, Jade sets Graveheart free and battles at his side.
WOLF IN THE FOLD: Graveheart convenes a strategy council of the new Alliance. He is amazed and delighted when Tekla wakes from her deathlike coma and offers to provide leadership. Jade becomes suspicious of Tekla's actions and uncovers the truth about Tekla's miraculous recovery.
ROCK AND RUIN: Tekla, Femur and Jade travel to Planet Rock in a last attempt to get King Mantel to join the Alliance. Femur manipulates Tekla into helping him take over control of Rocks' Battle Moons. Beast Drones take advantage of the opening to attack Rock. Jade fights for her life on the surface while Graveheart and Tekla fight to regain control of the Moons.
WORLDS WITHIN WORLDS: The Alliance is in desperate retreat from the Beast Planet as it advances upon Planet Ice. Tekla makes a perilous journey to the center of Ice to locate a piece of ancient technology that may be the only hope for Ice's survival.
DIVIDED WE STAND: Jade and Femur crash land upon a Prison Planet. Graveheart and Cryos go in search of them and discover there's an ongoing civil war between a leader called Sternum and a rebel named Jewelia. Jewelia enlists Graveheart to join her side, while Sternum convinces Jade to fight on his side. Pyrus is about to make contact with both sides when the Prison Planet suddenly teleports away.
DEATH OF A KING: The battle for control of the Prison Planet and its teleport engines continues. Sternum reveals how Femur exiled him to this world. King Mantle foolishly tries to take on the Beast Planet. His world is overrun and Mantle faces death at the hands of Blokk. Jewelia's true nature finally shows itself. THE MOTHER OF INVENTION: Ecco falls for an enticing young female alien, Kreeda, who has a bad habit of lying. Kreeda is the inventor and engineer of her people, who live in the ruins of a destroyed technological civilization, but she keeps the knowledge to herself. Kreeda steals the hydrogen-converters from the SG vehicles just as the Tlak'Kahn finds the team and attacks. COAT OF ARMS: Cassy takes it personally when she learns that one of her ancestors, Cassandra, is considered a traitor. Cassy, Verne and Gus travel to the center of the earth with UBOS (The Ultimate Book of Spells) to locate the missing Cassandra and learn the truth.
SPYKECAM: Spyke is given a class assignment to make a video about the meaning of family. But how do you video your "family" when they are all X-Men? Add to the mix a feud between Kitty and Rogue, and an attack on the mansion by Wolverine's most lethal enemy, Sabretooth.
