GROWING HEMP
As recently as the 1940's, hemp was an important American crop. There were partriotic World War II posters urging the production of hemp. What happened between now and then? The total insanity of the so-called "Drug War" and the inability of those making the laws to distinguish between hemp and marijuana. They are not the same plant. Furthermore, hemp is one of the most beneficial and useful plants we could possibly have as a crop, capable of providing everything from excellent oils to clothes, rope, shoes, and paper. The use of hemp paper alone could offset the need to destroy so many trees for paper. Combat ignorance. Educate yourself. Read more about growing hemp. |
