As though farmers weren't having enough of a struggle trying to survive, what with giant corporations driving individual farms out of business and forcing genetically-altered crops down our throats whether we like it or not.

Now comes the latest "innvoation" from shortsighted, corporate greedheads -- Terminator seeds. Plants that produce seeds that cannot regenerate.

Think about this. For countless thousands of years, since the first farmer discovered how to gather seed and plant a new crop in the spring, humankind has relied on the natural bounty of the earth.

So what do these lunatics want to do? Sell seed that forces farmers to buy new seed from them every year by selling them crops that produce sterile seeds. This is such a staggering afront to the natural order, I can hardly make my brain process the concept. Add to that the risk of these suicide plants cross-fertilizing with normal plants, and you have a nightmare.
